Small intestine: The small intestine or known as the colon is made up of three parts, the Duodenum which is the top parts of the intestine also it receives chemicals and partially digested food from the stomach, Jejunum which is the middle part the job of it is to absorb most of the nutrients into the blood and the Ileum which is the bottom parts of the small intestine pass all other nutrients to the large intestine.
Large intestine: There are also three parts of the large intestine. The ascending colon which is the part of the intestine which the food goes up the intestine. The tranverse colon which the food goes across the intestine, and the decending colon which is the part of the intestine that the food goes down to the anal canal
